Financing Solar Energy in Costa Rica: Case Studies (2011)

This document provides information on the Costa Rican Institute for Electricity’s (ICE) efforts to bring modern energy resources to the, largely rural, 2% of the Costa Rican population whom live off the grid. An essential component of these efforts involved brining solar thermal technology to indigenous communities.
